Experienced Small Animal Veterinarian – Melbourne, VIC

A well-established, large, privately owned small animal practice in Melbourne’s western suburbs is seeking an experienced veterinarian to join its friendly, supportive, and highly skilled team.
This position offers an outstanding opportunity to further develop clinical, surgical, and diagnostic skills within a busy practice that manages a high and varied caseload. The veterinary team includes multiple clinicians with advanced skills, supported by an excellent nursing and support team, allowing cases to be worked up thoroughly and collaboratively.
The practice is exceptionally well equipped, providing access to advanced diagnostics and treatment options rarely available in private primary care. Facilities include digital radiography, a full in-house pathology suite, high-end ultrasound, endoscopy, laparoscopy, CT scanning, dental suites, multiple consulting rooms, and dedicated operating theatres. Visiting surgical and medical specialists are available, along with in-house expertise in small animal reproduction.
Continuing education and the pursuit of special interests are strongly encouraged. The role includes access to VIN, BSAVA resources, Plumb’s, the Sydney University CVE Hub, and an annual continuing education allowance. There are no sole-charge or on-call requirements.

Salary and hours are negotiable. An attractive remuneration package is offered, including a competitive base salary plus a guaranteed percentage of revenue generated to ensure pay fairness.
