Role: Locum Veterinarian (Mixed Practice)
Dates: March – May (ideally block bookings)
Hours: Ideally 3–5 days per week (rotational weekends), flexible

A lovely mixed-practice clinic in Dairy Flat is seeking a Locum Veterinarian from March through May. The caseload is predominantly companion animal (approx. 80%), with a small component of large animal work (around 20%), including very simple equine. This is a great opportunity to join a welcoming team in a relaxed, well-supported environment.

Requirements:

• BVSc or equivalent, with registration (or eligibility) in New Zealand
• Comfortable with companion animal consults and routine procedures
• Willing to undertake light large-animal and basic equine work
• Flexible, reliable, and team-oriented
• Strong communication and practical clinical skills
