Veterinarian – Coastal Lifestyle Role
4-day week | Only 1 weekend per month | No after-hours

On behalf of our client, a well-established and thriving 4-vet small animal practice located in the stunning Port Stephens area (just 5 minutes from the beach and a short drive north of Newcastle), we are seeking an experienced Veterinarian to join their friendly and supportive team on a permanent full-time basis.

The practice has a particular focus on surgery and is exceptionally well-equipped with ultrasound, endoscopy, full orthopaedic kit, electrocautery and more, all backed by a highly skilled nursing team.

The role

• 4-day working week
• 1 weekend in every 4 (with a long weekend off afterwards)
• No after-hours or on-call
• Excellent mix of medicine and surgery
• Short-term accommodation available for relocating candidates

About you

• BVSc or equivalent, registrable in Australia
• Minimum 2 years’ clinical experience in small animal practice (preferred)
• Confident with routine and more advanced soft tissue surgery
• Orthopaedic experience is a bonus but not essential
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and excellent communication skills
