Rest Your Paws is Australia’s leading in-home palliative care and euthanasia service, providing compassionate, meaningful end-of-life experiences for pets and their families. We are always looking to connect with empathetic, skilled Veterinarians interested in supporting our mission to improve the standard of end-of-life care across the country.

About the Opportunities:
We are well-staffed in Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide, but open to expressions of interest from vets across any Australian city with a population over 100,000.
In Sydney, we welcome additional vets interested in both palliative care and in-home euthanasia.
We offer flexible engagement options depending on availability and interest in additional responsibilities such as community education or business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-home euthanasia services with empathy and professionalism

  • Support families through end-of-life and quality-of-life discussions

  • Optional: conduct palliative care consultations for elderly and terminally ill pets

  • Represent Rest Your Paws in your local region with compassion and professionalism

  • Optional: participate in clinic outreach and community education activities

Requirements:

  • BVSc or equivalent with full Australian veterinary registration (state or territory specific)

  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience

  • Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence

  • Confident working independently with remote team support

  • Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
