Global Veterinary Careers is working with an independent, family-owned veterinary practice in London, that is passionate about delivering outstanding clinical care. About the Practice:
The practice is purpose-built, modern, and equipped with excellent facilities. The clinical team includes experienced vets and nurses with a broad range of specialities, and the practice actively encourages further education and CPD. The environment is friendly, collaborative, and supportive, allowing colleagues to thrive while delivering exceptional care to patients.
The Role and Team:
This Head Nurse position is a key role within the practice, leading and supporting the nursing team while working closely with vets and other clinical staff. The role involves:
- Supporting the professional development of RVNs, students, and VCAs
- Helping to maintain and improve clinical standards across the practice
- Working 4 days per week, 9-hour shifts, including 1:4 weekends
- Participation in the duty night rota
About You:
The ideal candidate will be confident, self-motivated, and approachable. You’ll have a strong level of clinical experience and a genuine passion for supporting colleagues and enhancing clinical standards. Leadership, teamwork, and excellent communication skills are essential.
