Ambulatory Equine Veterinary Surgeon | Full-Time

GVC is assisting a hospital-based equine practice in recruiting a confident and motivated Ambulatory Equine Veterinary Surgeon. This role blends the autonomy of fieldwork with the support of a fully equipped hospital environment, offering a varied and stimulating caseload.

The Role

This is a first-opinion ambulatory role with seamless access to hospital diagnostics and treatment facilities. Responsibilities include:

• Managing your own cases in the field with clinical autonomy

• Attending routine visits, emergencies, and stud work

• Supporting in-house elective and emergency surgical caseload

• Access to a standing MRI unit and collaboration with visiting specialists in dentistry, sarcoids, and internal medicine

• Working within a supportive, experienced team using excellent equipment
