Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon | Full-Time or Part-Time
GVC is assisting a well-established, single-site small animal practice in recruiting an enthusiastic and caring Veterinary Surgeon. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a broad and varied caseload, while developing long-term relationships with clients and their pets.
The Role
The successful candidate will provide first-opinion veterinary care, including routine consultations, surgical procedures, and in-house investigations. Some out-of-hours work is required, but the rota is designed to support a strong work-life balance.

Hours: Full-time preferred, part-time considered

Salary: £40,000–£60,000 FTE, including OOH

OOH rota: 1 in 4, financially remunerated

Clinical team of vets supported by 5 RVNs, an animal care assistant, student nurses, and a skilled front-of-house team

Fully equipped with digital X-ray (standard and dental), ultrasound, video-endoscope, and in-house laboratory for biochemistry and haematology

Accredited Gold Compassionate Understood Practice and Gold Standard Cat Friendly Clinic

Strong focus on in-house investigation and treatment, enabling vets to develop a broad range of medical and surgical skills
