Registered Veterinary Nurse | Full-Time (No OOH)

GVC is assisting a well-established small animal practice in recruiting a motivated and positive Registered Veterinary Nurse. This role is ideal for an RVN who is passionate about delivering gold-standard patient care and promoting excellence in veterinary nursing.

The Role

The successful candidate will work alongside a friendly and supportive team, providing high-quality care across all areas of nursing. Responsibilities include:

• Anaesthesia monitoring and support

• Nurse consultations

• In-patient care

• Collaborating with veterinarians, RVNs, and front-of-house colleagues

Hours: Full-time
Out-of-Hours: Not required
Saturday rota: Equal share, 8:30am – 12:30pm

Team & Facilities

• Well-equipped practice including in-house laboratory, digital x-ray, ultrasound, dental machine, and access to a specialist ultra-sonographer for cardiology

• Recognised training facilities for student nurses

• Supportive team culture with regular in-house CPD and “lunch and learn” sessions

Salary & Benefits 

• Salary: Up to £30,000, dependent on experience

• 6 weeks paid holiday including bank holidays

• CPD allowance: £600 per annum, funding actively encouraged

• RCVS membership paid, plus one additional subscription

• VDS cover for the clinical team

• Enhanced parental leave
