GVC is assisting a friendly, supportive veterinary hospital and branch practice near Doncaster in recruiting a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN). This role is perfect for an RVN looking to develop their career while enjoying excellent work-life balance.
The Role

Hours: Full-time (38 hours over 4 days) – part-time applicants considered

Rota: One Saturday morning (8:00–12:30) approximately every six weeks; additional time paid or given as TOIL
-
No out-of-hours, Sundays, or Bank Holidays – in-patients are cared for by an external OOH provider
-
Mixture of consulting, hospital, prep, and operating shifts – can be tailored to your preferences and strengths

Salary: £26,000–28,000 pro rata; higher for additional qualifications or certificates

Support for certificate study and further training – the clinic encourages professional development and skill growth

Practice Environment

Two-site practice with a hospital and branch, fully equipped with laparoscopic equipment, dental X-ray, and advanced surgical capabilities

Team includes certificate holders in surgery, medicine, diagnostic imaging, and anaesthesia & analgesia
