GVC are providing recruitment support to a large independently run Veterinary practice in country Victoria close to the border of New South Wales.

This wonderful practice is seeking  an experienced veterinary nurse to join their growing team and hospital.
The clinics and hospitals are set out within a 500sqm space and have separate dog and exotic pet and cat zones. The new facility also has hydrotherapy, advanced imaging, a mobile call out service as well as a comprehensive in house Idex lab and a new endoscopy suite. Visiting specialists and consultants include a dermatologist, surgeon, ophthalmologist and acupuncturist. The hospitals are thoroughly enjoyed by pet parents with visiting rooms and spacious waiting and consultation areas.
These modern facilities are set in the beautiful big Border twin town – Albury – Wodonga on the edge of Lake Hume and the mighty Murray River. There is plenty to keep yourself occupied in your spare time with snow skiing, hiking, watersports, wineries and great restaurants, just to name a few!
A family of experienced veterinarians and veterinary nurses that work together happily as a great team and enjoy supporting one another whilst we enjoy getting on with our high level of pet care.
What we need:

• A full time or casual role for an experienced veterinary nurse
• High standard of nursing skills (anaesthetic monitoring, IV catheter placement, blood collection, nurse consultations, use of Idex equipment)
• A comprehensive knowledge of Ezyvet, Outstanding customer service and phone manner
• Well-presented and a good team player
• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent
• Enthusiastic toward interacting with and training of junior staff
