Are you a confident and capable Vet looking for an exciting opportunity in a friendly, well-established hospital setting? This is a fantastic chance to take on a rewarding ECC night role within a supportive and progressive team.
The Role
We’re seeking an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a busy Tier 3 hospital covering maternity leave. You’ll handle a varied ECC caseload, working alongside another ECC vet, a skilled RVN team, and reception support.

Rota: 7 nights on, 14 nights off

Salary: £55,000 – £70,000 (pro rata, dependent on experience)

Contract: 12-month FTC (maternity cover)
This is an ideal role for someone confident in sole charge and comfortable with emergency and critical care cases, while enjoying the support of an experienced team and excellent facilities.
About the Hospital
The hospital is a 100% small animal site equipped with outstanding facilities including CT scanner, digital X-ray, endoscopy, ultrasound, and a dedicated feline unit (Gold standard cat friendly status). The team includes experienced vets (including certificate holders), talented RVNs, and a welcoming support staff who all share a passion for exceptional patient care.
