At this clinic, nurses do everything that they are trained to do and are seen as an integral and valuable part of the process of producing the best possible outcome for the patients and their owners.

This large modern vet practice is a 6-Vet clinic, the clinic is resourced with digital x-rays, high-quality ultrasound, doppler blood pressure monitors, laparoscopic and endoscopic equipment & full Idexx in-house lab.

All the anesthetic monitoring equipment is fixed with SpO2, ECG, BP, and ETCO2. Our wonderful client is an ASAVA-accredited hospital of excellence, adhering to the highest surgical standards of care and pride themselves on what they do when nobody is looking. Importantly, the team also like to laugh!

The successful applicant will:

• Ideally 3-5 years of experience (surgical nursing)
• Certificate IV Qualified or equivalent
• Highly motivated
• Exceptional communication skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-growing clinical environment
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to work efficiently in day-to-day tasks including inpatient care
• Ability to make our clients and their pets feel comfortable and important
• Ability to assist and train our trainee nurses on a day-to-day basis.
