Rest Your Paws is Australia’s leading in-home palliative care and euthanasia service, providing compassionate, meaningful end-of-life experiences for pets and their families. We are expanding our reach into the Albury–Wodonga region and are seeking caring Veterinarians to help establish this important new service area.

About the Role:
There are currently no veterinarians on the ground, with two expected to commence around October. To meet growing demand, we are seeking additional vets with flexible weekday availability to assist with home visits. This role offers the opportunity to grow with the service and help develop a long-term presence in the region. As demand increases, the role may transition into an on-call system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-home euthanasia services with compassion, care, and professionalism

  • Support families through quality-of-life discussions and end-of-life decisions

  • Optional: provide palliative care consultations for elderly or terminally ill pets

  • Represent Rest Your Paws’ values in every client interaction

  • Collaborate with the national veterinary and client care team

Requirements:

  • BVSc or equivalent with NSW or VIC veterinary registration

  • Minimum 2 years of veterinary experience

  • High emotional intelligence and communication skills

  • Confident working independently

  • Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
