Locum Veterinarian – Maternity Leave Cover – Middle Park, QLD

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Locum Vet to join a supportive small-animal clinic in Middle Park for a maternity leave cover. The position offers flexibility to tailor the role around your strengths — consults only or a mix of consults and surgery.

What’s on offer:

• Flexible start date and duration

• Supportive, multi-vet team (sole charge only on Saturdays)

• No after-hours or on-call work

• Weekday shifts 8:00am–6:30pm

• Saturdays 8:00am–2:00pm (1 in 4 required, 1 in 2 preferred)

• Minimum 3 days/week (Mon, Thu, Fri) – option for 4 days/week

• Collaborative team with strong nursing and phone support

Requirements:

• BVSc or equivalent with QLD registration

• Ideally 3+ years of clinical experience

• Confident with consults and routine surgery

• Friendly, reliable, and team-focused
