A busy small-animal practice in Edgewater is seeking an experienced Locum Veterinary Nurse to provide cover across a range of shifts from November through early December. The position suits a confident, all-rounder nurse capable of supporting consults, surgery, and patient care in a sole charge capacity.

About the Role:
The clinic offers a friendly and supportive environment with a steady caseload. You’ll assist with all aspects of general practice nursing — from anaesthetic monitoring to surgery prep and client communication — while maintaining a smooth daily workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with surgical and medical procedures

• Monitor anaesthetics and manage patient recovery

• Support vets during consults and treatments

• Maintain cleanliness and prepare theatre

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care

Requirements:

• Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)

• Confident in anaesthesia, surgery, and client service

• Able to work independently in sole charge when required
