A busy small-animal hospital in Subiaco is seeking Locum Veterinary Nurses to assist across a variety of shifts through November. This is a no sole charge position suited to capable all-rounder nurses who thrive in a supportive, team-based environment.

About the Role:
This role offers excellent flexibility with a range of start and finish times available across weekdays and weekends. You’ll be assisting with consults, surgical procedures, inpatient care, and general nursing support in a modern, well-equipped clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support veterinarians during consults and surgery

  • Monitor anaesthetics and manage patient recovery

  • Deliver compassionate care to inpatients

  • Prepare surgical areas and assist with general treatment procedures

Requirements:

  • Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)

  • Confident across all areas of general practice nursing

  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills
