Registered Veterinary Nurse – London

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a supportive small animal team in North London. This is an ideal role for an experienced or confident nurse seeking a varied, hands-on position in a modern, well-equipped practice.

The Role

• Hours: Full-time (42 hours/week including 1:4 Saturdays)

• Part-time: 32–34 hours/week available, no weekends

• Salary: Up to £32,500 DOE (pro rata for part-time)

• Duties: Clinical nursing, anaesthesia monitoring, nurse consults, and surgical assistance

The role focuses primarily on clinical duties, with a small proportion (approx. 5%) of administrative tasks such as diary management, stock control, and mentoring support. You’ll work alongside an experienced Veterinary Surgeon, a Patient Care Assistant, and a Client Care Assistant, ensuring seamless, high-quality care for patients and clients.

You’ll be an RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse who enjoys working with autonomy in a close-knit team. Excellent communication, organisational skills, and a proactive approach to patient care are essential. This position would suit a nurse looking to take the next step in their career, develop leadership skills, or build confidence in a supportive setting.
