We’re excited to be supporting a well-established small animal practice in the Hertfordshire area, currently seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly and dedicated team.

Situated in a lovely town in Hertfordshire, this modern, purpose-built practice is equipped with fantastic facilities, including:
🐕 Separate cat and dog wards
🩻 Digital X-ray and ultrasound
🧫 In-house laboratory and isolation unit
💉 Dedicated sterile theatre
The team is known for their excellent client relationships, with many insured patients and a strong focus on quality, longer appointment times to ensure the best care possible. Visiting specialists regularly perform advanced procedures, including cardiac scans, abdominal ultrasound, and orthopaedics, providing an excellent opportunity for professional development.

👩‍⚕️ About the Role & Team:

This role offers a great balance between clinical and client-facing responsibilities, giving the successful RVN the chance to be involved in all aspects of veterinary nursing — from anaesthesia and nurse clinics to assisting in theatre.
You’ll be joining a supportive team consisting of experienced Vets, VCAs, and reception staff who take pride in maintaining a positive, collaborative environment. The practice promotes a healthy work–life balance, offering both full and part-time options, no OOH, and just 1 in 3 Saturdays (either paid or with time off in lieu).

🕓 Typical shifts include:

• 8:45am – 17:15pm
• 10:45am – 19:15pm
• Saturdays: 9:00am – 13:00pm (1 in 3 rotation)
