This independently minded, small-animal hospital on the Upper West Side is growing and seeks an experienced DVM who enjoys complex case workups, dentistry, mentoring, and a calm, client-centered experience.

What You’ll Do 

  • Lead best-in-class GP care across wellness, internal medicine, dentistry, and routine soft-tissue surgery 

  • Manage urgent-care level presentations (stabilize/triage, treat or refer as appropriate) 

  • Communicate clearly and kindly with pet parents; build lasting relationships 

  • Help coach junior doctors/technicians and contribute to CE, QA, and protocol development 

Compensation 

  • Base salary: up to $185,000 (commensurate with experience) 

  • Production: 20–22% with no negative accrual 

  • Sign-on/relocation assistance available 

  • OTE: $180,000 – $240,000+ depending on caseload, production, and bonuses

Requirements 

  • DVM/VMD degree or equivalent from an AVMA-accredited university 

  • NAVLE 

  • ECFVG or PAVE if attended a non-AVMA-accredited university 

  • DEA, State, and USDA licenses (can be acquired when hired)
