Job Title: Veterinarian – Small Animal
Location: Northcote, VIC
Job Type: Part-Time or Full-time
Salary: $105,00 – $145,000 + Superannuation

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Veterinarian who particularly enjoys internal medicine, and who can confidently collaborate with our regular visiting medical, surgical and dental consultants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster a positive, productive, and collaborative work environment.
  • Deliver outstanding care to our patients and their families
  • Practice evidence-based medicine with thorough case workups
  • Collaborate with our medical consultant who visits twice weekly, and our surgical and dental consultants
  • Foster an environment of continuous learning and professional development within the veterinary team.
  • Undertake leadership training if desired

Skills and Qualifications

  • DVM from an accredited veterinary school
  • 3+ years’ experience
  • Compassion and empathy – genuine care and understanding for animals and owners
  • Positive approach – optimistic outlook and an ability to foster a healthy work environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with staff, clients, and the community.
