Job Title: Veterinary Surgeon – Mentoring Focus
Location: South West England
Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum, dependent on experience
Hours: Full-time (flexible hours considered)

About the Role:
Global Vet Careers is recruiting a Veterinary Surgeon for a friendly, well-established small animal practice in South West England. This role is perfect for an experienced GP vet with strong clinical skills and a passion for mentoring and supporting junior team members.

The practice has an excellent reputation, is RCVS accredited, and prides itself on delivering first-class care to clients and patients. With well-organised days, 20-minute consults as standard, and a supportive team culture, this is an ideal role for vets seeking a balanced working life without out-of-hours duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality general practice medicine and surgery for small animals.

  • Mentor and support junior vets and new graduates.

  • Build strong, lasting relationships with clients and patients.

  • Contribute to the ongoing success and development of the practice.

  • Participate in a structured, collaborative team environment.

Requirements:

  • Experienced veterinary surgeon with broad GP skills.

  • Confident in small animal medicine and routine surgery.

  • Enjoys mentoring and supporting other team members.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a team-focused approach.
