Veterinary Surgeon – Full-time/Part-time, Small Animal

GVC is recruiting a Veterinary Surgeon to join a supportive team at a brand-new, state-of-the-art small animal hospital in Northamptonshire.

About the Hospital:
The hospital is a purpose-built, 24-hour facility designed by and for vets. Modern diagnostic and treatment facilities include CT, digital X-ray, endoscopy, laparoscopy, sterile theatre, piped gas, and ultrasound. The hospital is supported by a highly skilled nursing team, many of whom have progressed internally from ACA/VCA/SVN roles.

About the Practice:
The practice is an established veterinary group with multiple branches and a 24-hour hospital, providing comprehensive care to pets across Northamptonshire and surrounding areas. The team culture is collaborative and sociable, with regular social events, charity initiatives, and opportunities for professional development.

The Role:

• Full-time or part-time options available

• No out-of-hours duties; dedicated OOH team in place

• Weekend rota: 1 in 8 day shifts, plus 1 in 8 short shift; TOIL provided

• Opportunity to follow cases through and work in a multi-disciplinary environment

Benefits Include:

• Salary: £40,000 – £70,000 depending on experience

• 6.6 weeks paid holiday including bank holidays
