Salary: Up to £65,000 DOE
Hours: Full-Time (4 weekdays + alternate weekends) or Part-Time (3 long days + 1 in 4 weekends)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a highly regarded, state-of-the-art small animal hospital offering both first-opinion and referral services. This award-winning, RCVS-accredited hospital is equipped with advanced technology including a CT scanner, endoscopy (rigid and flexible), ultrasound, and facilities for neurosurgery, orthopaedics, stem cell therapy, chemotherapy, and minimally invasive surgery.
This position is ideal for a confident and compassionate Vet looking to develop their skills within a supportive and highly experienced team.
The Role
The incoming Veterinary Surgeon will join a dynamic day team and enjoy a varied and interesting caseload.
Key responsibilities include:

Managing routine surgical and medical cases with confidence.

Working up cases to a high standard with access to advanced diagnostics.

Providing excellent client communication and compassionate patient care.

Collaborating with an experienced, multidisciplinary team of clinicians and nurses.
What’s Needed
-
MRCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.

Competence in routine surgical and medical work.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Dedication to maintaining high clinical standards and client satisfaction.
Hours & Rota
-
Full-Time: 4 weekdays + alternate weekends.

Part-Time: 3 long days + 1 in 4 weekends.

No out-of-hours required.
