The Role:
We’re looking for a Veterinary Surgeon with a medicine bias who is comfortable carrying out minimal surgeries. You’ll be part of a skilled, collaborative team delivering high-quality care to patients and clients.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver exceptional clinical care during consultations and procedures.

Provide clear and compassionate updates to clients on patient care.

Mentor and develop colleagues, contributing to a positive, progressive clinical culture.

Prepare tailored treatment and care plans with transparent cost estimates.

Support nurse-led consults and schedule 3 procedures to optimise clinic efficiency.

Collaborate across the wider veterinary community to share clinical best practice.
About the Practice:
The Scunthorpe practice is spacious, modern, and centrally located, with:

4 consultation rooms and 1 surgical theatre

Digital x-ray and ultrasound
-
Laparoscopic equipment
-
Large prep area and in-house blood analysers
-
Support from a Practice Manager, Lead Vet, HRVN, and an experienced Nursing team
Hours & Rota:
-
Full-time: 40 hours per week over 4 days
-
1 in 6 Saturdays (09:00–17:00)
-
No out-of-hours or bank holiday duties (approx. 1 day per year)

Flexible and part-time hours considered

Requirements:

RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon

Confident in medicine-focused practice with minimal surgery
