Are you a dedicated Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon looking for a flexible, community-focused role with great work-life balance? This part-time opportunity in Newcastle-under-Lyme offers a supportive, close-knit team environment and no out-of-hours or bank holiday work.

About the Role

You’ll join a busy, well-established small animal practice with a strong commitment to teamwork, client care, and staff wellbeing.

The role is 3 days per week, likely Tuesday and Wednesday (5 hours each) and Friday (10 hours)
participation in a 2:11 Saturday morning rota (9:00–1:00).

Your time will be split between consulting and surgery, with occasional sole charge. This position would suit a confident clinician who enjoys variety and values collaborative practice. If you’re a Vet GDP Advisor, or interested in becoming one, that’s a plus—there are opportunities to help support graduate vets within the wider group.

About You

• MRCVS-qualified Small Animal Vet with strong clinical and communication skills

• Confident with both consulting and routine surgery

• Supportive, proactive team player

• Keen to maintain high standards of care and wellbeing in practice
