An excellent opportunity for an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a busy, well-equipped independent hospital in South Yorkshire. This permanent role offers both daytime clinical work and participation in a supportive out-of-hours rota — ideal for vets who value continuity of care and case progression within a dedicated team
The Role:
- Full or part-time position available
- Structured day shifts: 8–10 hours with paid 30-minute lunch
- Participation in OOH rota: avg. 1.25 nights/week (worked from home, nurse on-site)
- First-opinion caseload with inpatient and emergency care managed in-house
- Work alongside a clinical team of 7 Vets, 9 RVNs, receptionists, student nurses & visiting specialists (orthopaedics and cardiology)
- RCVS-accredited, fully equipped 24-hour small animal hospital
About You:
You’ll be an experienced veterinary surgeon with a passion for delivering high standards of care across both routine and emergency caseloads. You enjoy working collaboratively and value continuity in your cases. A UK driving licence is essential for this role.
