Rest Your Paws is Australia’s leading in-home palliative care and euthanasia service, providing compassionate, meaningful end-of-life experiences for pets and their families. We are seeking caring and motivated Veterinarians across the Wollongong, Illawarra, and Kiama regions to join our growing national team.

About the Role:
This role involves providing in-home euthanasia and optional palliative care consultations within your local area. The ideal candidate will have availability across several days per week, offering either full-day or shorter 4–5 hour windows for appointments. There is no on-call roster in this region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-home euthanasia services with professionalism, empathy, and care

  • Support families through end-of-life decision-making and quality-of-life discussions

  • Manage comfort and wellbeing for palliative care patients (optional)

  • Build meaningful client relationships while representing Rest Your Paws’ values

  • Optional: contribute to business development and outreach in the region

Requirements:

  • BVSc or equivalent with NSW veterinary registration

  • Minimum 2 years of veterinary experience

  • Excellent communication and emotional intelligence

  • Confident working independently with remote support from the wider team

  • Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
