Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week across 4 days | 1 in 4 Saturdays | No out-of-hours

The Role
An excellent opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon ready to step into leadership, or a Clinical Director seeking a new challenge. The role combines clinical work with practice leadership, offering the chance to shape clinical standards, develop the team, and drive the continued success of a well-established small animal practice.

What You’ll Be Doing

Leading the clinical team and ensuring the highest standards of patient care

Driving practice growth, development, and performance

Supporting and mentoring colleagues to develop their clinical and leadership skills

Balancing clinical duties with leadership responsibilities

Engaging with clients to build lasting relationships and trust

What’s Needed

Proven experience in practice leadership and small animal clinical care

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Client-focused ethos with a drive for excellence in outcomes

Commitment to quality improvement, education, and team development

Hours & Rota

40-hour week across 4 days

1 in 4 Saturdays

No out-of-hours

Built-in administrative time and regular breaks

Facilities & Support

Modern facilities including ultrasound, digital x-ray, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, in-house lab (biochemistry, haematology, cytology)

Two fully equipped surgical theatres
