Emergency & Critical Care (ECC) Veterinary Surgeon

Salary up to £93,393 FTE

My client in The North East is proudly building a dedicated team of Emergency & Critical Care (ECC) Vets to deliver exceptional, round-the-clock service. Working alongside a qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse, you’ll manage a diverse and interesting caseload of medical and surgical emergencies, as well as oversee inpatients during the night.

You’ll also be part of a wider network of hospitals offering 24-hour care, ensuring you’re never working in isolation, with opportunities to collaborate and discuss cases with other ECC vets.

  • 9 spacious consulting rooms

  • 3 fully equipped operating theatres

  • Digital X-ray, ultrasound, and diagnostic suite

  • Dedicated dental suite and isolation unit

  • Separate cat and dog wards to support low-stress patient care

  • Central prep area to ensure smooth clinical workflow

Rota

  • 7:14 rota (average of 31.1 hours per week)

  • Alternative working patterns also considered

  • Our advertised salary is based on a 40-hour FTE
