Global Veterinary Careers is partnering with PDSA to recruit dedicated Veterinary Nurse for their Huyton hospital. PDSA provides expert veterinary care to pets whose owners might otherwise be unable to afford treatment, making every day’s work meaningful.

About PDSA Liverpool & Huyton:
PDSA Huyton are modern, well-equipped hospitals with separate dog and cat kennelling, in-house radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, piped gases, and extensive orthopaedic equipment. The veterinary teams have varied clinical interests, providing a supportive environment where colleagues can discuss cases, share expertise, and collaborate on treatment plans. About the Role & Team:
PDSA is looking for qualified Veterinary Nurses who are confident managing a varied caseload and comfortable communicating with colleagues and clients. You will:

  • Assist in consultations, in-patient care, dispensing medications, and theatre support, including Schedule 3 surgeries
  • Share knowledge and lead by example
  • Champion the charity, promoting client contributions and suggesting efficiencies in resource use
  • Contribute to a fast-paced environment while maintaining your own work-life balance; flexible options are available

  • Qualified Veterinary Nurse
  • Confident, adaptable, and able to work across a wide variety of cases
  • Strong communicator and team player
  • Passionate about improving pet health and client care
