An exciting opportunity has become available for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly and supportive independent small animal practice along the Essex coast. You’ll be part of a 13-vet team (7 FTE) within a well-established, forward-thinking environment where collaboration, high clinical standards and work-life balance are genuinely valued.
🩺 About the Practice
This RCVS-accredited nurse training practice has recently undergone a full refurbishment and extension, now featuring separate cat waiting and consulting rooms. The team includes certificate holders in Dermatology and Soft Tissue Surgery, supported by an excellent nursing team of 14 (10 RVNs), many of whom have trained in-house — ensuring strong continuity of care and great clinical support.

💼 The Role

Full-time permanent position

15-minute appointments

One set operating day per week

👩⚕️ About You
You’ll be an experienced small animal vet, confident with all routine procedures including neutering, dentals, lumpectomies and diagnostic imaging. You’ll take pride in working cases through and maintaining strong continuity for your patients.
