🐾 Veterinary Surgeon – Full Time | Hertfordshire 🏞️

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly and supportive small animal practice in Hertfordshire.

Located within a modern, well-equipped practice on a busy retail park, this is a fantastic location with great facilities and easy access to London and surrounding areas. Free on-site parking is also available.

You’ll be joining a welcoming, experienced team that includes 3 vets, 2 qualified nurses, 2 student nurses, 1 VCA, and 2 receptionists, all dedicated to providing exceptional patient and client care.

About the Role

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week), typically worked across 4 days, with a 1 in 4 weekend rota. Following a weekend shift, you’ll enjoy three days off, plus one three-day weekend per rota cycle, offering excellent work-life balance.

You’ll be part of a busy first-opinion practice that sees a varied and interesting caseload, allowing you to develop your skills and take cases as far as your experience allows. The team actively encourages case discussions and collaboration, ensuring a supportive environment for learning and growth.

This role would suit either:

• An experienced vet seeking a better work-life balance, or

• A developing vet looking to gain confidence and broaden their clinical experience with support from an experienced team.
