An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly and experienced team in Norwich. This role is ideal for a compassionate and skilled Vet with experience in small animal practice who wants to make a real difference to pets and their families. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality general practice care with the option to focus on medicine or consult-only work
  • Work collaboratively within a team of experienced vets, nurses, and support staff
  • Participate in a flexible weekend rota (1:5 Saturdays, 1:5 Sundays) based at a Norwich site
  • Support practice standards, patient care, and client communication across multiple Norwich sites as required
  • Engage in career development, training, and potential leadership opportunities

Requirements

  • RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon
  • Ideally at least 2 years’ experience in small animal practice (newly qualified candidates considered)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passionate about animal welfare and delivering high-quality patient care
  • Team player with the ability to work independently
  • Flexible approach to working across Norwich practices when required

  • Salary: up to £60,000 FTE depending on experience
  • Full-time 39 hours/week over 4 days (9am–7pm), part-time considered
  • Weekend rota essential (1:5 Saturdays and Sundays)
