Veterinary Nurse / Receptionist – Part-Time

Kieron Wineberg at GVC – Global Veterinary Careers is representing a well-established mixed-animal practice in Romsey, Victoria, currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Part-Time Veterinary Nurse/Receptionist to join a friendly and supportive team.

About the Role

This is a hands-on nursing and client-facing position within a modern, mixed-animal clinic environment offering exposure to small animals, horses, and livestock. The role involves working across surgery, hospital care, consulting, pathology, treatments, and reception.

You’ll be supported by a positive and experienced team, with ongoing training and professional development encouraged.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Delivering high standards of veterinary nursing across surgical and hospital cases

• Placing IV lines, setting up fluids, and monitoring anaesthesia confidently

• Conducting nurse consults and performing basic pathology procedures

• Assisting with reception tasks including client communication and bookings

• Helping maintain a welcoming and professional clinic environment

What We’re Looking For

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or a Veterinary Technician qualification preferred

• Strong general nursing skills and confidence in anaesthesia and patient care

• Experience with reception duties and client service

• A positive, team-focused mindset and willingness to support a strong clinic culture
