📍 Location: South East London | 🕒 Part-Time / Permanent | 💼 3-Day Week (Flexible)

GVC is assisting a well-established and welcoming veterinary team in recruiting a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon. This is an excellent opportunity to develop a veterinary career in a supportive, modern practice while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

  • Flexible working: 3-day week with 1:3 Saturdays or 1:6 full weekends at a nearby 24-hour hospital. Half-day arrangements can also be accommodated.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality clinical care to patients and clients.
  • Prepare accurate, tailored treatment plans with clear cost estimates.
  • Mentor and develop the team, enhancing skills and efficiency.
  • Share clinical best practice within the practice and wider veterinary community.
  • Complete clinical handover and coordinate out-of-hours or advanced care when required.

Candidate Requirements:

  • RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon.
  • Experienced in delivering exceptional patient and client care.
  • Strong teamworking and clinical leadership skills.
  • Experience supporting nurse consults and schedule 3 procedures.
  • Ability to foster a progressive clinical culture and coach colleagues effectively.
