Veterinary Surgeon – Cheshire, UK – Independent Clinic

💰 Up to £70,000 | 4-day week | No out-of-hours

Are you an experienced Veterinary Surgeon ready to take the next step in your career? This is an exciting opportunity to lead a friendly, well-established small animal team in Cheshire, where you’ll enjoy a varied caseload, excellent facilities, and strong clinical support within a collaborative environment.

🌟 The Opportunity

You’ll be a key member of the team, providing high-quality, compassionate care to local pets and their families. The role is suited to a vet with solid GP experience, ideally with an interest in medicine or imaging. You’ll lead by example, supporting your team to deliver excellent clinical outcomes and outstanding client service.

Rota:

• 4 x 9-hour days per week (average 39-hour week)

• 1 in 4 weekends (Saturday & Sunday)

• No OOH or on-call work

Typical vet shift times: 8am–5pm | 9am–6pm | 10am–7pm | 11am–8pm
Consults: 15 minutes for sick pets, 10 minutes for vaccines

🏥 About the Practice

The clinic is modern, purpose-built, and well-equipped with:

• Biochemistry, haematology, urinalysis & microscopy

• Digital X-ray & dental X-ray

• Ultrasound & orthopaedic equipment

• Dedicated imaging and dental suites

• 6 consult rooms, 2 theatres

You’ll be supported by a team of 3 Vets and 5 RVNs, all passionate about pet health and welfare. Locum accommodation is available if relocating.

Opening hours:
Mon–Fri: 8am–8pm | Sat–Sun: 9am–3pm
