About the Role
You will work closely with experienced veterinarians who genuinely enjoy teaching and supporting early-career vets. Expect hands-on involvement across:

General medicine & preventative care

Routine surgeries (with step-by-step supported progression)

Diagnostics, imaging & case workups
-
Emergency and urgent care stabilisation (supervised)

Dentistry
-
Exposure to complex and referral-level cases (where appropriate)
This role is designed for a new graduate who wants confidence-building mentorship, a friendly team, and the ability to grow at a sustainable pace.
Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality veterinary care to small animals

Perform routine surgeries and assist with more advanced procedures

Work collaboratively with the nursing and veterinary team

Participate in ongoing clinical learning, mentoring sessions, and CPD
Requirements
Must-Haves:

BVSc/DVM (2024–2025 graduate)
-
Registration (or eligibility) with the Veterinary Practitioners Registration Board of Victoria

Strong communication and teamwork
-
Willingness to learn and develop surgical & medical skills
Nice-to-Haves:

Previous nursing or placement experience
-
Interest in surgery, internal medicine, behaviour, or ECC

Desire for long-term career progression within the clinic
