Veterinary Surgeon – Night Role – Oxfordshire, UK – 7 On / 14 Off – Salary Up to £80,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established 24-hour small animal practice in Oxfordshire, as part of a newly launched dedicated night service. This role offers an excellent work–life balance, a structured rota, and the chance to focus on ECC work within a well-equipped clinical environment.

This position is ideal for a vet already working in emergency and critical care, or for someone looking to transition into ECC while maintaining long-term career progression.

The Role

• Permanent night position within a 24-hour practice

• 7 nights on, 14 nights off rota

• Sole-charge overnight with access to a strong and experienced RVN team

• Varied ECC caseload with opportunity to further develop emergency and critical care skills

• Fast-paced, rewarding clinical environment with strong team culture

Candidate Requirements

• RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon

• Minimum of 3 years’ post-graduate experience

• Confident managing emergency and out-of-hours cases

• Comfortable working independently overnight

Salary & Benefits
