A client we are representing is looking for an experienced small-animal veterinarian to join their independently owned hospital in Sunnybank, QLD. This role offers a 70% surgical / 30% consulting split, making it perfect for vets who thrive in theatre and want ongoing surgical development, including orthopaedic training.

Equipment & Clinical Capability

• Endoscopy unit

• One ultrasound machine

• Two vets highly skilled in ultrasound

• Orthopaedic gear + training

• Two surgical theatres

• Strong medical and surgical support team

• Never sole charge — 3–4 vets rostered at all times

Roster & Hours

Clinic opening hours:

• Mon–Thu: 8am–7pm

• Fri: 8am–6pm

• Sat: 8am–5pm

You will be required to work 2 in 4 Saturdays.

Salary & Start Date

• $130K–$145K to start (flexibility for the right candidate).

• February start ideal — January also possible.

Requirements

• A recognised degree in Veterinary Medicine to practice in Australia.

• Full working rights in Australia.

• Strong surgical interest and capability, with desire to continue upskilling.
