We’re representing an independently owned small-animal hospital seeking experienced veterinary nurses to join their teams across Sunnybank and Nundah. These roles are ideal for nurses who thrive in theatre, enjoy hands-on involvement, and value teamwork over corporate pressure.

Clinical Environment & Equipment

• Two fully equipped surgical theatres

• Strong, experienced medical and surgical team

• Endoscopy unit

• Ultrasound on site, with vets highly skilled in imaging

• Orthopaedic procedures and advanced surgeries

• Busy, well-supported hospital with 3–4 vets rostered at all times

The Ideal Nurse

• Minimum 4 years’ experience as a veterinary nurse

• Strong surgical and theatre skills essential

• Confident with anaesthesia monitoring, surgical prep, and assisting

• Team-oriented, reliable, and passionate about high standards of care

Locum nurses will be considered if they meet the experience and surgical skill requirements, though permanent applicants are preferred.

Roster & Hours

Clinic opening hours:

• Mon–Thu: 8am–7pm

• Fri: 8am–6pm

• Sat: 8am–5pm

Weekend requirements will be discussed during the interview process.
