The Opportunity

An established small animal practice in Chester is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join at an exciting time of growth, with new AI-supported technology being introduced to improve workflows and free up more clinical time for patient care.

This role would suit a vet keen to explore or develop a clinical interest while working within a structured, well-supported environment.

Working Pattern

  • Full-time preferred
  • Part-time considered
  • 1 in 5 Saturday mornings (9:00am – 12:30pm)
  • No out-of-hours
  • No Sundays

Clinical Focus & Interests

The practice is particularly interested in speaking with vets who have experience or interests in:

  • Dentistry
  • Cardiology
  • Laparoscopy

That said, experienced consult-only vets or those with other special interests are also encouraged to apply.

Clinical Environment

  • 20-minute consults
  • Structured diaries with protected lunch breaks
  • Dedicated time for calls and paperwork
  • Nurses available throughout the day to assist in consults

The Team

  • 7 Veterinary Surgeons
  • 7 Registered Veterinary Nurses
  • 3 Receptionists

The clinical team holds a range of interests, offering the opportunity to collaborate, share knowledge, and develop skills across different disciplines.
