Mixed Animal Veterinarian – Full-Time | Regional Victoria

An excellent opportunity is available for a Mixed Animal Veterinarian to join a well-established, purpose-built veterinary practice located in a vibrant regional community along the Murray River, approximately 3.5 hours north-west of Melbourne.

This modern clinic is exceptionally well equipped for both small and large animal work and offers exposure to a varied caseload, with approximately 80% small animal and 20% equine, cattle, and some sheep.

Facilities & Equipment

  • Purpose-built veterinary hospital

  • Indoor equine crush, indoor and outdoor stables

  • Cattle yards and crush

  • Dedicated small animal surgery suite

  • Two wet prep tables

  • Digital X-ray

  • Endoscopy

  • In-house pathology

  • Ultrasound suitable for all species

The Role

  • Manage a diverse medical and surgical caseload across small and large animals

  • Work alongside four experienced veterinarians and a highly skilled nursing team

  • Strong mentorship and support, ideal for both new graduates and experienced veterinarians

  • Shared and quiet after-hours roster

  • Access to professional development through CVE practice membership

  • Fully equipped work vehicle provided

Salary & Benefits

  • Well above award salary package ranging from $80,000 to $150,000, dependent on experience

About You

  • BVSc or equivalent

  • Eligible for veterinary registration in Australia

  • All experience levels welcome, including new graduates
