A rare and career-defining opportunity is available for an ambitious and motivated Equine Veterinarian to join an elite racehorse veterinary team based at a world-class training facility in regional Victoria.

The Opportunity

This position sits within a rapidly expanding veterinary team, supported by highly experienced veterinarians and skilled nursing staff. The role provides unrivalled exposure to elite equine athletes, state-of-the-art facilities, and exceptional mentoring.

With a 4.5-day working week and a 1-in-4 weekend roster, this is widely regarded as one of the most lifestyle-friendly full-time racehorse veterinary positions available.

Salary & Benefits

• Base salary $100,000 – $140,000, commensurate with experience

The Role

• Deliver high-quality veterinary care to elite racehorses throughout all stages of training

• Perform diagnostics, treatments, and preventative care programs

• Work closely with trainers, stable staff, and the veterinary team to optimise equine health and performance

• Contribute to welfare, wellbeing, and long-term athletic success

About You

• Minimum 1 year equine veterinary experience

• Strong interest or experience in racehorse practice

• Excellent clinical, communication, and teamwork skills

• Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent)

• Eligible for veterinary registration in Victoria

• Visa sponsorship and relocation support available for eligible international candidates
