Join a well-established 24-hour veterinary hospital in South London as a Veterinary Surgeon with an Orthopaedic Bias. This is a full-time, permanent position, offering the opportunity to work in a modern, fully equipped hospital with a strong, collaborative team and excellent facilities.

The hospital provides full 24-hour care with a dedicated night team and offers advanced diagnostic and surgical equipment including laparoscopic kit, ultrasound, digital and dental x-ray, and endoscopy. With two theatres, a separate dental suite, imaging room, and dedicated cat ward, the environment is purpose-built for exceptional clinical standards and patient comfort.

The Role
We’re seeking a vet with a strong interest or experience in orthopaedic surgery to join a skilled and supportive team. You’ll handle a diverse caseload with the chance to further develop your surgical expertise in a well-resourced setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeries (e.g. TPLO, TTA, arthroscopy, fracture repair).

• Conduct laparoscopic procedures including lap spays.

• Provide excellent diagnostic skills, including imaging interpretation.

• Manage complex cases with confidence and precision.

• Deliver clear, empathetic communication to clients.

• Support and collaborate with colleagues to maintain high clinical standards.

Requirements

• MRCVS-qualified Veterinary Surgeon.

• Proven experience in orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery.

• Confident with advanced surgical techniques and imaging.

• Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
