Join a well-established 24-hour veterinary hospital in South London as a Veterinary Surgeon with an Orthopaedic Bias. This is a full-time, permanent position, offering the opportunity to work in a modern, fully equipped hospital with a strong, collaborative team and excellent facilities.
The hospital provides full 24-hour care with a dedicated night team and offers advanced diagnostic and surgical equipment including laparoscopic kit, ultrasound, digital and dental x-ray, and endoscopy. With two theatres, a separate dental suite, imaging room, and dedicated cat ward, the environment is purpose-built for exceptional clinical standards and patient comfort.
The Role
We’re seeking a vet with a strong interest or experience in orthopaedic surgery to join a skilled and supportive team. You’ll handle a diverse caseload with the chance to further develop your surgical expertise in a well-resourced setting.
Key Responsibilities

Perform advanced orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeries (e.g. TPLO, TTA, arthroscopy, fracture repair).

Conduct laparoscopic procedures including lap spays.

Provide excellent diagnostic skills, including imaging interpretation.

Manage complex cases with confidence and precision.

Deliver clear, empathetic communication to clients.

Support and collaborate with colleagues to maintain high clinical standards.
Requirements

MRCVS-qualified Veterinary Surgeon.

Proven experience in orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery.

Confident with advanced surgical techniques and imaging.

Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
