We’re seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join a friendly and close-knit team at a well-established small animal practice in Welwyn Garden City. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a great work-life balance, variety, and excellent clinical exposure.

The practice is a thriving 2-vet site supported by 2 RVNs, a VCA, and a CCA. You’ll assist with a wide range of cases including routine procedures, dentals, lump removals, and heart scans, using in-house x-ray, biochemistry, and haematology facilities. As an RVN, you’ll enjoy a varied role involving nurse consults, surgical assistance, patient care, and occasional reception and admin duties.

The standard rota is 4 days per week (9.5-hour shifts), plus participation in a 1 in 6 weekend rota at the nearby 24-hour hospital in Enfield, alternating between early (07:40–16:00) and late (12:10–20:30) shifts.

Requirements

• RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse

• Confident in nurse consults and general practice procedures
