Schedule
- Part-time position (approximately 2-3 days per week)
- Relief shifts available on Saturday & Sunday
- Weekend hours: 8:00am – 6:00pm
- No overnight or emergency duty

The Role
This Part-Time Associate Veterinarian role includes:
- Performing comprehensive physical exams and medical work-ups
- Diagnosing and treating a wide range of small animal medical conditions
- Performing routine surgical and dental procedures
- Communicating clearly and compassionately with clients
- Educating pet owners on diagnostics, treatment plans, and preventive care
- Prescribing medications and following controlled substance protocols
- Maintaining accurate and thorough medical records
- Collaborating with technicians and support staff to promote workflow efficiency
- Participating in daily case discussions and hospital rounds when scheduled
- Supporting hospital protocols from intake through discharge

To Be Considered for This Position, You Must Have:
- DVM/VMD degree or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Active California veterinary license in good standing
- DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in small animal practice
- Strong diagnostic, medical, surgical, and dental skills
- Excellent communication and client-relation abilities
- Ability to work confidently in a collaborative team environment
