Salary: $125,000 – $155,000 + super

Overview

A well-established and busy small animal clinic in Melbourne’s south-east is seeking an experienced Senior Veterinarian to join their close-knit team. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician ready to step into a leadership-focused position.

The Opportunity

This role provides high clinical autonomy, a varied caseload, and the chance to play a key role in mentoring junior staff. You will work alongside a strong support team and be involved in shaping the clinical direction of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing consultations and medical cases
• Performing routine and advanced surgeries
• Supporting and mentoring junior veterinarians
• Leading case discussions and treatment planning
• Contributing to clinical standards and protocols
• Maintaining excellent client relationships

About You

• Registered veterinarian with 4+ years’ experience
• Confident across surgery and internal medicine
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Enjoys teaching and team collaboration
• Committed to high-quality patient care
