A well-established small animal practice group in Kent is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their team, working across two nearby sites in the Maidstone area. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering variety, clinical autonomy, and the chance to work with experienced nursing teams and a loyal client base.
The role suits a vet who enjoys a mixed caseload, values collaboration, and is comfortable working across more than one practice setting.
The Role

Full-time position working a four-day week

One in six weekends

No out-of-hours

First-opinion small animal caseload with a good mix of consults and surgery

Opportunity to work across two established practices within the same local area
Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality clinical care in both consults and surgery

Build strong, long-term relationships with clients

Develop and discuss tailored treatment plans

Work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons, nurses, and support teams

Contribute positively to team culture and clinical standards
The Candidate

RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
-
Confident in routine first-opinion work
-
Comfortable working across two sites

Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach

Experience preferred, with scope for leadership and development
Salary and Benefits

Salary up to £60,000 depending on experience
