Small Animal Veterinarian – Wellington Region (Full-Time)

Are you an experienced Veterinarian looking for a full-time role in the Wellington region? We are seeking a passionate Small Animal Vet to join our friendly team in Silverstream, Wellington.

Role Highlights:

• General practice role with a mix of consults and surgery, or consult/medicine-only if preferred.

• Opportunity to pursue a range of special interests. Experience or interest in exotics (reptiles or birds) is a bonus.

• 20-minute consults with scope to provide high-quality patient care.

About The Clinic:

• Multi-vet team of 5, with experience ranging from 2 to 30 years.

• Experienced nurses providing nurse consultations to support vets and enhance patient care.

• State-of-the-art equipment including in-house IDEXX blood machines, multi-parameter anesthesia monitoring, ECG, oscillometric and Doppler blood pressure, digital and dental X-ray, high-quality GE ultrasound.

• Purpose-built hospital with sterile surgery theatre plus an additional theatre for dentals, enemas, etc.

• Visiting dental specialist for ongoing support.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experienced Small Animal Vet with at least 3 years in general practice.

• Confident in consults and routine surgery.

• BVSc qualified (or equivalent) and registered to practice in New Zealand.
