A client we are representing is seeking a Lead Veterinarian to join their modern, purpose-built hospital in Gatton, Southern Queensland. This is a rare Monday to Friday opportunity, with opening hours of 8am to 6pm and no after-hours or weekend shifts.

The Practice
This is a well-established and respected small animal hospital situated in the town centre. Many clients have been attending for over a decade, bringing a varied and rewarding caseload of medical, surgical and preventative care cases.
The clinic itself is modern and purpose-built, featuring separate dog and cat consult rooms and wards, designed to create a calm and efficient working environment.

The Role
As Lead Veterinarian, you will:

Deliver high-quality consultations and routine surgical procedures

Mentor and support a new graduate Vet, guiding their clinical development

Take an active leadership role within the clinic
-
Contribute to operational improvements and strategic direction
-
Foster strong client relationships within the local community

Help maintain a positive, engaged and collaborative team culture
About You
-
BVSc (or equivalent) and eligible for registration in Queensland
-
Confident in routine surgery and general practice medicine
-
Passionate about animal welfare and high standards of care
-
Experienced or ready to step into a leadership role
-
Strong communicator with the ability to build lasting client relationships
-
Committed to full-time hours
